Description
Chunky little Double Cellar, slip-cast in stoneware, is the perfect accessory for the table. Use it as a vessel to share or at an individual place setting. Fill it with salt and pepper, sure, but also fill it with other finishing touches... truffle or chili oil, chopped chives, ground mustard, herbs de provence... or serve beside a cocktail to hold a duet of roasted nuts. The pair of little hand-carved Beechwood Double Cellar Spoons, sold separately, sit perfectly in the well, and keep your fingers clean in a pinch.

Wash with soapy water and towel dry.
Do not submerge in water.
Avoid the dishwasher, as the intense heat can dry out your piece.
Once a month or so, apply a little mineral oil using a soft cloth.
Do not use cooking oils such as olive or vegetable oil.
If your piece starts to feel rough or feathery, use a fine-grit sandpaper to smooth it.
You can also sand out any stains or burn marks.
