Description
The PK54 Dining Table stands as a monumental study in contrasting geometry and materials, designed by Poul Kjærholm to act as the natural anchor of a room. The design is defined by its two distinct shapes: a perfect circular tabletop that meets a cubic base constructed from four squares of satin-brushed stainless steel. This structural steel frame supports a heavy, organic surface—available in rolled marble or granite—creating a delicate balance between industrial precision and natural raw material. While the stone surface offers a unique, irregular pattern, the table can be expanded with a wooden ring (sold separately), seamlessly merging mineral and wood textures for a larger dining experience.

Marble
- Care & Maintenance: Apply an impregnating sealer to the marble before use to preserve its natural beauty. Stone Wash cleaner, included with purchase of a marble product (PK products only), will protect against stains, but only to a degree
- Cleaning & Stain Removal: Blot spills immediately to avoid permanent damage. Acid substances like wine, coffee and fruit juice may cause staining. Treat locally with Stone Wash to avoid staining, although it may not disappear entirely
- Caution: Wet items such as vases or glasses may stain the surface. Always use coasters and trivets and blot spills with a dry cloth
Steel
- Regularly wipe with a microfiber cloth to remove build-up
- Clean with warm, soapy water and wipe dry to avoid streaking. Always wipe in the direction of the grain. Spot clean with benzine on a clean, soft cloth
- Chlorine- and acid-based cleaners will cause the steel to rust. Do not use steel wool, steel brushes or other abrasives
