Textiles

Care & Maintenance: Vacuum weekly on medium power with a soft brush nozzle
Cleaning & Stain Removal: Remove wet stains by carefully dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge wrung in warm, detergent-free water. Do not rub as this can damage the fibres and cause discoloration. For persistent stains, use a powder-based cleaning product. Follow the packaging instructions after pre-testing on an inconspicuous area of the furniture to determine if color bleeds or the fabric changes in any way
Caution: Sharp objects can scratch, and damage textiles and non-colorfast clothing can cause permanent discoloration. Avoid placing in direct sunlight for extended periods of time or close to heat sources

Aluminum

Care & Maintenance: Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth
Cleaning & Stain Removal: Remove stains with a soft cloth wrung in a mild detergent solution and wipe dry. For stubborn stains, use an eraser or petroleum benzine, taking care avoid unaffected areas
Caution: Do not use abrasives as these may damage the surface of the metal

Wood

Care & Maintenance:
- Never use abrasive cleaners including steel wool and polish. Instead, use a mild detergent and follow the packaging instructions. Do not clean furniture with damaged surface lacquer as the water will penetrate and cause warping
- For daily cleaning, wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Stains and dirt can be removed using a solution of hot water and a universal cleaning product, soap flakes (one tablespoon to one litre of lukewarm water), washing detergent or a mild vinegar solution. Wick away excess water immediately and wipe dry with a clean cloth
- For deeper cleaning, wipe away dirt and debris. Wring a clean cloth in a solution of water and a universal cleaning detergent, adding a little detergent directly on the cloth before applying to the stain(s). For stubborn stains, apply detergent directly and let it sit for a minute or two before rinsing with clean water. To avoid water marks, wipe dry with a soft cloth. N.B. Extension leaves must be completely dry before storing
Cleaning & Stain Removal: Remove stains and spills as quickly as possible, rinsing with clean water and drying with a soft cloth to avoid water marks
Caution: Avoid placing objects on the surface for longer periods of time as this will result in staining and/or discoloration. Never place hot items directly on wood surfaces. Although finished with a layer of clear lacquer for durability, repeated exposure to sunlight will cause wood to fade over time. Clothing rivets can leave pressure marks on wood

Materials

Shell: The shell of the chair is created in hard polyurethane foam with glass fibre re-enforcement of the edges as with the Egg™ and the Swan™. The seat cushion for both the chair. The back cushion on the chair is made of two slices of soft foam with a lumbar support to increase durability and comfort.

Base: The base comes with four legs made of solid oak or satin brushed aluminum with a clear lacquer finish. Each leg has mounted nylon glides, suitable for a majority of floors.

Christianshavn fabric: 85% Wool Blend, 15% Polyamid.
Remix: 90% New Wool Blend (Worsted), 10% Nylon.
Atom: 90% New Wool Blend (Worsted), 8% Nylon, 2% Polyester
Vidar: 94% New Wool Blend, 6% Nylon.

Delivery: This level of service includes inside delivery to room of choice and package removal. Shipment can be brought up two flights of stairs in a walk-up; please let us know if you have additional stairs, which may incur additional costs. This is the recommended service for customers in multi-unit buildings or offices. Please note, customer signature is required and returns will not be accepted once successful delivery has been completed.
Scheduling: Customer will be notified of delivery date options via phone call and email and, once date is confirmed, will be provided with a 4-hour appointment window. The shipping company's contact info will be included in the email, in order to reschedule the appointment if necessary.
What's Included: Inside delivery to specified room, package removal, and customer signature required. This level of service does not include assembly or moving of existing items.

Cancellation Policy
