Marble
- Care & Maintenance: Apply an impregnating sealer to the marble before use to preserve its natural beauty. Stone Wash cleaner, included with purchase of a marble product (PK products only), will protect against stains, but only to a degree
- Cleaning & Stain Removal: Blot spills immediately to avoid permanent damage. Acid substances like wine, coffee and fruit juice may cause staining. Treat locally with Stone Wash to avoid staining, although it may not disappear entirely
- Caution: Wet items such as vases or glasses may stain the surface. Always use coasters and trivets and blot spills with a dry cloth
Glass
- Care & Maintenance: Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Remove stains and spills as quickly as possible, rinsing with clean water and drying with a soft cloth to avoid water marks. Always wash off with clean water. To avoid stripes/blotches you should then wipe the surface with a clean, dry cloth until it is completely dry
- Cleaning & Stain Removal: Use lukewarm water and wipe with a clean, soft cloth. Clean with dish detergent as the occasion requires
- Caution: Never use abrasives or sharp tools to remove stains
Stainless Steel
- Care & Maintenance: Regularly wipe with a microfibre cloth to remove build-up
- Cleaning & Stain Removal: Clean with warm, soapy water and wipe dry to avoid streaking. Always wipe in the direction of the grain. Spot clean with benzine on a clean, soft cloth
- Caution: Chlorine- and acid-based cleaners will cause the steel to rust. Do not use steel wool, steel brushes or other abrasives
