Description
The PK80 Daybed is the embodiment of Poul Kjærholm’s talent for refining historical models and distilling design down to its very essence. The daybed draws inspiration from a couch designed by Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich in 1930. It can be found today in the Museum of Modern Art and around the world as a celebrated illustration of craftsmanship and modern design.

Leather
- Care & Maintenance: Vacuum regularly using a soft brush nozzle
- Cleaning & Stain Removal: Clean only when necessary, using hot water and soap flakes. Dissolve 2-3 tablespoons of soap flakes in 1 litre of boiled water. Using only the foam, apply evenly across the surface of the furniture using a soft cloth. Mop excess water with a dry, soft cotton cloth. Allow the furniture to dry before use. Spot cleaning is not recommended for leather as it can cause discoloration. Damage caused by stain removers is not covered by the Fritz Hansen warranty
- Caution: Sharp objects can scratch, and damage leather and non-colorfast clothing can cause permanent discoloration. Avoid placing in direct sunlight for extended periods of time or close to heat sources. Stacking of upholstered chairs can cause pressure marks in the upholstery. To minimize pressure marks when stacking upholstered chairs use the piece of cardboard and thin foam to divide the pressure from the four spacers onto a larger area. This does still not guarantee no pressure marks

- Care & Maintenance: Vacuum weekly on low to medium power with a soft brush nozzle
- Cleaning & Stain Removal: Remove wet stains by carefully dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge wrung in warm, detergent-free water. Do not rub as this can damage the fibres and cause discoloration. For persistent stains, use a powder-based cleaning product. Follow the packaging instructions after pre-testing on an inconspicuous area of the furniture to determine if color bleeds or the fabric changes in any way

- Care & Maintenance: Regularly wipe with a microfibre cloth to remove build-up
- Cleaning & Stain Removal: Clean with warm, soapy water and wipe dry to avoid streaking. Always wipe in the direction of the grain. Spot clean with benzine on a clean, soft cloth
- Caution: Chlorine- and acid-based cleaners will cause the steel to rust. Do not use steel wool, steel brushes or other abrasives
