The Georg Dining Table represents a harmonious dialogue between Nordic warmth and Japanese reductionism, known popularly as the "Japandi" aesthetic. Designed by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm, the table is characterized by its generous width and thoughtful structural engineering; the round, tapered legs are recessed beneath the tabletop rather than positioned at the corners. This deliberate inset maximizes legroom, allowing guests to sit comfortably around the entire perimeter without obstruction. Crafted from solid, FSC-certified oak, the table offers a robust yet visually light presence, making it a versatile centerpiece for compact dining rooms or open-plan living areas where space is at a premium.

Solid Wood
- Care & Maintenance: As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate and change color over time into a beautiful silvery grey. To maintain untreated wood, it is a good idea to use sandpaper (grit 120-150) once or twice a year. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original color, use suitable furniture oil on a regular basis
- Cleaning & Stain Removal: Do a general cleaning when needed with a suitable wood cleaner and soft bristle brush. Rinse afterwards with water and let it dry for 24 hours. The wood used for our outdoor furniture, Teak and Western Red Cedar, is resistant to everyday wind and weather with or without treatment due to the high content of natural oils. Stains can be removed with mild bleach, water and a soft cloth
- Caution: As the wood is untreated, it may be affected by grease and colorants. Drying racks: When using drying racks, do not dry wet laundry directly on the wood, as this might discolor the fabric. Products in Douglas Pine may have small amounts of resin extraction when unpacked. It can quickly be removed with a little denatured alcohol. Also, minor cracks can appear over time due to changes in the living natural wood. For tables, remember to retighten the table’s mounting bolts from time to time
