Clean spills immediately, blot any liquid with clean, dry, undyed cloth or paper towel. Do not pull on loose ends, trim with scissors. Store your rug by rolling the pile inside and wrap with cloth for protection. Shedding is a normal feature during the initial month of use for this handmade carpet which will subside with subsequent usage. To prolong the life of your rug, we recommend occasional vacuuming on a low setting or sweeping with a broom. Periodic professional cleaning is also recommended. Occasionally an odor might be experienced with a new rug which will disperse quickly once aired.

Shipment can be brought up two flights of stairs in a walk-up; please let us know if you have additional stairs, which may incur additional costs.
