Marble:
- Address spills immediately with a dry, soft cloth. Natural stone is a porous material, and although it has been sealed, spills should be blotted promptly to minimize staining.
- Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to dust or spot-clean as needed. Wipe dry.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, chemical solvents, strong detergents, furniture polish, and cleaners with bleach.
- Use trivets, coasters, placemats, and adhesive felt pads to help prevent scratches.
Metal:
- Address spills immediately by wiping with a dry, soft cloth.
- Dust regularly with a soft, damp cloth, followed by a dry one.
- Avoid use of cleaning products with acid, vinegar, lemon, and ammonia, as abrasive ingredients can damage surface.
- Metal surfaces are not scratch- or heat-resistant and may scuff or stain without proper care.
- To maintain material’s natural appearance, avoid sharp objects on surfaces.
