Description
The Navy Outdoor Lounge Armchair is a sophisticated update of Emeco’s classic 1940s design, originally created for the US Navy. Crafted by hand in Pennsylvania from recycled aluminum, its lightweight yet exceptionally durable frame is built using Emeco’s signature hand welding and heat treating process, ensuring unmatched durability. Available in a hand-brushed finish or vibrant powder coat colors, this armchair is perfect for both indoor and outdoor settings. Upholstery options include leather, fabric, and weather-resistant outdoor textiles, with removable cushions featuring Sunbrella Heritage covers for lasting comfort and style.

Aluminum frames: Clean the aluminum frame with soap and water, and dry with a soft cloth. Can also use Windex, Formula 409 or similar spray cleaner, with or without bleach followed by a lint free towel. Hydrogen peroxide-based cleaners may also be used, dilution level 1:10. Wash any film or residue with hot water.
Do not use Stainless Steel cleaner on any aluminum furniture. For heavy-duty dirt or oil stains on a hand brushed frame, use a very hot water and strong soap, followed by LIGHT scrubbing in the direction of the aluminum grain with a soft bristled brush. If the frame finish is brushed aluminum, also use a damp Scotchbrite pad.
Upholstery: For lounge chairs and sofas upholstered in Sunbrella Heritage and used outdoors, it is always recommended that furniture be stored indoors, or covered, during the winter season and/or when not in use.
Arm caps: Clean with a warm, soapy, damp cloth gently applied to the surface. Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
