- Oil Treated Surfaces: Wipe with a clean, dry cloth. For stains that cannot be removed with a dry cloth, use a soft cloth dampened with clean water and wrung out. Immediately wipe the surface with a dry cloth.
- Soap Treated Surfaces: For regular cleaning, use a cloth firmly wrung in lukewarm water. If the surfaces are particularly dirty, you can add soap flakes to the water. Never soak the wood, as too much water may cause damage to the surface.
- Lacquered Wood: Wipe with a clean, dry cloth in the wood grains longitudinal direction. To wash entire chair, use a soft cloth, tightly wrung in lukewarm water containing a tiny bit of all-purpose cleaning agent without sanding qualities. Immediately wipe the surfaces with a dry cloth.
- Paper Cord: Vacuum-clean gently with a soft mouthpiece at medium suction in order to remove dust and avoid discoloration from dirt. Wet stains should be removed immediately with a soft cloth or paper towel.
