Wood
- It is important to remember that wood is a living material. Although no longer part of a tree, wood is still very much a part of its environment, responding to light, temperature, humidity, and wear. As wood is a natural material, variances in grain and color may occur between furniture items.
- As the wood ages, the color will mellow and deepen. This is a natural process due to oxidation of the wood and finishes along with the ultraviolet light naturally present in sunlight.

- The lacquer finish on your furniture should provide years of protection against dirt and moisture. Still, it is important to note that care must be taken to prevent excess moisture from coming in contact with the piece.
- It is important to ensure that any liquid spilled on the surface is wiped up immediately and cleaning cloths are lightly damp, with excess moisture dried afterwards.

- Maintain your powder coated surface by gently wiping with a clean, soft dry cloth. Do not use cleaning products or harsh abrasive cleaners, as these can mark or cause irregularities in the finish. We recommend using a soft microfiber cloth to avoid cloth fibers being caught on the surface, which can occur with paper towels or similar.
