Description
The Fine Pure Silk Area Rug from Exquisite Rugs is a breathtaking display of textile artistry, bringing a crisp and refreshing energy to the floor. Meticulously hand-knotted using 100% handspun pure silk, this rug features a high knot density that allows for a delicate, flowing pattern with incredible precision. The color palette offers a clean, coastal-inspired aesthetic that is instantly elevated by the silk’s natural, glass-like radiance. As light moves across the room, the handspun fibers produce a shimmering effect, making the tones appear deep and vivid. Crafted without a secondary backing, the rug maintains a supple, lightweight handle and a low-profile silhouette, embodying a level of refined luxury that is both timeless and contemporary.
Highlights:
- Features a vibrant and refreshing colorway for a clean, modern look
- Made in India
- Hand-knotted with 100% handspun pure silk to ensure a premier, high-density finish
- Naturally light-reflective fibers create a brilliant sheen that shifts with your perspective
- Provides a luxuriously smooth and velvet-like texture underfoot
- Supple, no-backing construction emphasizes the rug’s authentic quality and flexible drape
- Rotate rug every 3-6 months to ensure even wear.
- Vacuum often in the direction of the pile and refrain from continuously running the vacuum over any serged or finished edges. Do not use a vacuum on fringed edges—only a handheld attachment.
- Do not use a vacuum beater bar on rugs with silk or viscose, or those made from loop construction. Avoid Dyson vacuums.
- Be sure to vacuum both sides of reversible rugs (like flat weaves).
- Remove stains or spills by firmly blotting with a clean, undyed cloth or towel. Do not rub.
- Avoid harsh chemicals on fine fibers.
- Professional cleaning is recommended for difficult stains.
