Description
The Exterior Robert Outdoor Dining Armchair from Sika Design revives a pioneering design from 1901 by Robert Wengler, known as the best wicker maker of his time, and adapts it for modern open-air living. While it maintains the classic, intricate look of traditional wicker furniture, this updated version is engineered for absolute durability. The frame is constructed from AluRattan, a robust powder-coated aluminum that mimics the strength and appearance of natural cane but withstands the elements without degrading. This is paired with an ArtFibre weave—a maintenance-free polyethylene that resists UV radiation and moisture. The result is a timeless, sturdy dining chair that can remain outdoors in all seasons without the need for specialized care.
