All rugs, when new, form and release “fuzz” during the first few months. To remove it, brush them gently with a soft bristle brush in the direction of the pile and then use the vacuum cleaner, with wheels in the nozzle in the same direction. Never pull on a thread that is sticking out of the surface but cut it off flush with the others.
Do not wet the rug or expose it to the sun for long periods, as it may fade.
If the rug is stained, quickly prevent impregnation of the fabric. Always clean from the external border toward the center to avoid propagating the stain. Press gently to avoid damaging the rug pile and always dry horizontally on a towel or a dryer.
