Clean spills immediately, blot any liquid with clean, dry, undyed cloth or paper towel. Do not pull on loose ends, trim with scissors. Store your rug by rolling the pile inside and wrap with cloth for protection. Shedding is a normal feature during the initial month of use of this handmade carpet. It would subside with the subsequent usage. To prolong the life of your rug, we recommend occasional vacuuming on a low setting or sweeping with a broom. Periodic professional cleaning is also recommended. Occasionally an odor might be experienced with a new rug, this will disperse quickly once aired.
