The Alfredo Salt Cellar by Alfredo Häberli for Georg Jensen keeps it where you actually need it, within reach of the stove, on the table through dinner, open and ready for the pinch that finishes a dish. Solid oak turned into a low vessel, capped with a mirror-polished stainless dome. The spoon tucks into a notch cut through the oak rim, so it stays with the cellar instead of migrating to a drawer, and the lid still closes over it. Georg Jensen has been working this contrast — warm material against high-polish steel since Alfredo launched, and this is the collection at its most quintessential.
