The refurbishment of Il Magma, a multidisciplinary design studio, reimagines the boundaries between physical and digital space. Emphasizing simple forms, smooth surfaces, and organic materials, the studio balances functionality with playful expression. Central to the design is the Plusminus lighting system, chosen for its intuitive adaptability. It enhances the dual nature of the space: one area serves as a focused work zone, while the other is an open, informal setting for meetings and creative exchange. The lighting creates distinct moods for each area while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic, reflecting the studio’s holistic approach to contemporary design.
