Description
Inspired by diatoms which are at the base of the entire oceanic food chain, the Maru Pendant Light from David Trubridge explores the beauty of natural materials and organic and geometric shapes. Crafted from 60 identical sustainably-sourced bamboo plywood components that clip together to create an elliptical silhouette, the swirling form is lit internally by energy-efficient LED modules for a powerful and lasting design. The effect of shadow play on surrounding walls and ceiling is Maru’s hidden quality, extending the beauty of light throughout the day. Available in two sizes various color options, this pendant is perfect bringing brightness to a dining room table, kitchen countertop or living room seating group.
