The Aran islands, known as the Jewel of Galway Bay, are the inspiration behind this stunning Aran Bowl, created in the finest pure crystal by the Master Craftsmen of Waterford. The footed base gives way to a deep sided contemporary shape with a very subtle inward curve while the striking linear crystal cuts form an eye-catching design based on the traditional Aran knitwear patterns. These special cuts are full of symbolism and where the intersecting lines encircling the bowl cross one another to create a diamond pattern, the shape represents a fishing net with a good catch bringing wealth and success. This elegant serving bowl is designed to bring decorative style to the home, etched with the Waterford logo and presented in a grey signature Waterford box, the Aran Bowl is a special piece reflecting the spirit of Ireland, its beautiful landscapes and rich heritage.
