Wood surfaces: should be dusted and cleaned with a damp cloth.
Metal surfaces: should be cleaned with a damp cloth everyday.
Ebony shade: take care not to peel the edge as it can de-laminate the veneer; wax every 1 - 3 years, remove any excess wax when finished.
Burlap and Linen shade: Blow away dust and dirt particles with compressed air; avoid using water or a vacuum to clean burlap or linen shades.
