Nikau is the only indigenous palm tree in New Zealand, named apparently because unlike the coconut palm familiar to Polynesians which has coconuts, thus Nikau is a slender clean looking palm tree. The fronds from the palm were traditionally used for thatching and weaving.
Care instructions: All wooden and/or polycarbonate lights are intended for use in dry interior conditions only and can be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened in warm soapy water when the light is switched off.
