“Re-lighting Gino Sarfatti”, is a challenge that Flos took on to bring back the designs of Gino Sarfatti. Sarfatti was probably the greatest Italian lighting designer with over 600 lamps and light fittings that were all produced by Arteluce, the company he founded and sold to Flos in 1973. Sarfatti’s designs were created between 1939 and 1973 using the lighting technology available at that time. Lighting technology has come a long way since then, so Flos set out to keep the timeless designs and has fitted them with cutting-edge LED technology detracting nothing from the integrity of the original designs.
MOD 607 table lamp emitting direct light, made up of two elements that are mechanically snapped together: a disc-shaped diffuser with a truncated cone section in painted aluminum and craquelé finish, and a slanted parallelepiped base in painted aluminum, which gives the lamp stability.
