The Lumiere lamp was designed in 1990 by Rodolfo Dordoni and immediately became one of the best sellers in the Foscarini collection. The blown glass diffuser of the table lamp is flipped over in the ceiling version, still characterized by the harmonious combination of the essential form of the mouth-blown glass diffuser and the stainless steel support. In 2005 the lamp was modernized with the introduction of new color shades for the diffuser – keeping the white internal layer to help to reflect the light – demonstrating the surprising modernity of one of the cult pieces of the collection. The refined elegance of Lumiere, the availability of four different colors: white, grey, ivory or amber, and its warm, intense, diffused light, make it the perfect lamp for various environments, different in both style and taste.
