- Delivery: Standard shipping provides delivery to the front door of a residence or dock of a commercial building. The delivery team will transport the item(s) from the truck to the first available dry, protected area outside your home (front porch, garage, or similar).
- What's Included: Standard Delivery includes delivery to the front door. If the destination is a multi-unit building, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to specific apartment door. In some cases, a signature may be required. Please note: this option does not include inside delivery to room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris. If you need to cancel an order, we understand... that happens. Please just notify us as quickly as possible so you can be refunded 100%. If an item has already shipped (shipping timeframes vary, so please review item’s product page), customer will incur shipping charges which will be deducted from your refund, since the item has already been packaged and routed, charges for which 2Modern will not be reimbursed from shipping companies.
2Modern has a generous and convenient return policy, accommodating product returns within 30 days. The only exception is with customized orders, noted on individual product pages. Please see further details on our Return Policy
As provided by Arktura:
Arktura warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period
of one (1) year from the date of delivery. During the warranty period, Arktura will repair or, at
its option, replace free of charge, products that are proven defective. This warranty does not
apply to corrosion resulting from proximity to a salt-air/marine environment nor swimming
pool. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse,
tampering, negligence or abuse.
Claims for lost or damaged shipments should be reported immediately by the Buyer to both the
carrier and Arktura, and annotations regarding any such loss or damage shall be placed on all
delivery receipts signed by the Buyer. The Buyer shall inspect the merchandise upon delivery
and in the event defects or damages should be noticed after delivery, both the carrier and
Arktura shall be immediately contacted by telephone and, if the carrier fails to send an
Inspector within 5 days, a request should be made in writing to the carrier, confirming the
telephone request for an inspection. The validity of any claim of damaged or defective goods
against Arktura shall be contingent upon Buyer first timely filing a claim with the carrier,
substantiated in accordance with the carrier’s rules and within the carrier’s time limit. If the
Buyer is a Retailer and Arktura arranged the shipping, the Retailer will be responsible for
assisting the customer and relaying shipping damage to Arktura as well as procuring supporting
documentation from the customer, i.e. photos, and the Retailer is subsequently responsible to
forward this supporting documentation on to Arktura. If purchased through a Retailer and the
Retailer arranged shipping, the Retailer will be responsible for carrying out the shipping damage
claim process. Buyer/Retailer hereby waives any possibility of claim for defect against Arktura
unless Buyer/Retailer has first satisfied this contingency.
In order to return an item, the return request must be made within 14 days and Arktura must
issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, or approve one provided. The
merchandise must be sent back in the original condition. If the return is not due to damage or
defect, the customer is responsible for the initial shipping charge as well as the return shipping
costs. Returns must be enclosed in appropriate packaging similar to how the merchandise was
received. If you are unsure about appropriate packaging, please discuss your case with us when
requesting to submit a Return. No merchandise may be returned without an RMA number.
In no event shall Arktura be liable for any lost revenue or profits, direct, indirect, special,
incidental or consequential damages of any kind. Any and all shipping costs incurred for return
of the defective product to Arktura is the sole responsibility of the owner. If purchased through
a retailer, the original retail purchaser will be responsible for labor, packing, and all shipping
and transportation costs.
