New York-based modern design studio Merenda was founded in 2015 by textile enthusiast Sarah Merenda. Boasting wallpaper motifs inspired by a range of disparate influences—distant places, graffiti, tattoo art, abandoned buildings—Merenda Wallpaper designs are the end result of a creative process that includes photography, rubbings, illustration and painting—each motif reflecting its founder's love of urban life, time-worn elements, and impermanence.
