Just in at 2Modern is Bellhop, a new cordless table lamp by British Designers Barber Osgerby for FLOS. This petite modern lighting design was originally created for the restaurant at the London Design Museum, and gets its name from the shape of its rounded shade, meant to evoke a hotel porter's hat.
The FLOS Bellhop Rechargeable Table Lamp, which stands just over 8 inches tall, has a candle-like resonance, thanks to its effortless portability and the application of edge-lighting technology—in which a flat disc, edged in LEDs, produces an even distribution of nuanced light. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, Bellhop's polycarbonate form is lightweight and compact, but the integrated USB port facilitates a charge that lasts up to 24 hours. Bellhop's four classic color options—black, white, grey and red—easily complement contemporary interior schemes, and the accessible price point makes this modern table lamp from FLOS both an efficient and visually striking decorative design.
For a limited time (through Oct 22), the FLOS Bellhop Table Lamp, and all FLOS lamps are on sale at 15% off. Shop the Modern Lighting Sale >
