The Swedish designer Calle Henzel started the company BY HZL with equal measures of fun and passion. The original, contemporary and graphic approach has given BY HZL large international attention. Henzel has specialized on developing a variety of wool products with high quality and innovative design. By experimenting with colours, graphic elements, patterns, textiles, fashion and furniture, I try to show new ways, to encourage people to use their imagination and make their surroundings more exciting and pleasant. BY HZL offer a different way of living, our carpets beautify every room, says studio co-founder Calle Henzel. Main aspects of Calle Henzel work: conception and design of high-level product-concepts as well as furniture- and fashion-design.
