The genesis for Modern Outdoor comes from an award winning fabricator of fine furniture and fixtures for retail spaces. Made in the USA, the Etra line is to date the line with the most breadth in the collection. It is made with FSC, ITTO, or IBAMA certified Ipe wood and Electropolished Stainless Steel. The larger planks used in this line provide for a clean aesthetic, comfort, and really showcase the inherent natural beauty of Ipe. Ipe is a South American hardwood sometimes called Brazilian Walnut, Ironwood, or Pao Lope, easily one of the most beautiful, natural, and densest wood products available today. It is naturally resistant to rot, insects, UV exposure, ice, salt, abrasion, and splintering (and is 3 times harder than teak)! Electro-polishing Stainless Steel provides corrosion resistance, resistance to contamination and bacteria growth, micro smoothness, and improved appearance. The frames of your Modern Outdoor furniture will glean for years to come with simple maintenance.

Modern Outdoor's Etra Chair Cushions are made to fit the Etra Chairs, the Regular fits to the Etra Chair and Large fits to the Etra Large Chair and Arm Chair.
