Its shade, made up of 8 sheets of wood veneer strips, gives it a look similar to those found in feathered head dresses of the North American Indians. The relationship between the shade and the metallic structure is a relationship of contrasts, the lightness of the shade against the weight of the structure, warmth and coldness, craftwork verses techno.
