Knifty - Desk 2. Knifty Desk 2 is a compact workstation with four useful, perfectly sized storage cubbies: one for envelopes, the next for your laptop (up to 17') with a wire management grommet, and two more that can hold file folders, paper or CD's etc. The top shelf is large enough to hold a phone, large monitor and a printer! The desk is easily movable and very solid. Built using 25 mm and 19mm thick birch multi-ply substrate, with your choice of 6 eco-friendly veneers, and finish with an extremely tough, low-VOC catalyzed varnish. The legs are custom made using 1" diameter 12 gauge tubular steel that is powder coated with an aluminum finish. Each leg has a nickel plated leveler, so this desk only rocks when you do. A handy pencil drawer made from recyclable injection molded plastic and steel ball bearing drawer slides glides with the slightest touch. Assembly is simple; attach the four legs with 16 machine screws using the accompanying Allen wrench provided and you are ready to get organized.
