UM Project - L.U.M. Lamp. L.U.M. conveys an “industrial craft” sensibility, combining rich materials (copper, brass, wood), subtle colors (pastel green, pastel pink or black for more conservative demographics) and simple utilitarian design. L.U.M. is inspired by a broad spectrum of influences from Art Deco to 1930s pop. Five small Edison bulbs are left totally exposed in the colored metal frame in an order to reinforce the friendly mechanical feel. To make sure that the lamp provides a high touch experience, it features a subtle logo cutout and a custom oversize knob for the dimmer switch. The lamp works as a desk lamp or a table lamp.
