In 1984 Lawrence Tarantino, AIA and Sharon Tarantino founded Tarantino Architect and have developed an impressive portfolio including private schools, universities, commercial, residential and preservation projects, specializing in the restoration of Frank Lloyd Wright structures. The firm holds architectural licenses in NJ, NY, PA and FL, and a planning license in NJ. Additionally, The NJ Historic Preservation Office has listed Tarantino Architect on its roster of Historical Architects. In 2001, Tarantino Studio was created when Tarantino Architect expanded from the Bachman Wilson House to a relocated Barn on the same property, in an effort to bring together the diverse aspects of their practices, offering clients the full breadth of their experience in product design. At the 2002 International Contemporary Furniture Fair in NYC, a children's furniture line was introduced. Since then Tarantino Collection has received a bounty of press coverage and was honored by Time Magazine as one of the "Coolest Inventions of 2002".
