Lumino Design was founded in 2005 by Thomas Warnke and their first line, The Spool Series, launched May 2005 in New York City. The Spool luminaire is designed for ambient illumination with the texture and depth of its surface diffracting and diffusing the light source, creating a visual experience that changes depending on eye level and movement of the observer.
