Bailey Heck - Trunk Table. As a point of departure the Trunk Table begins with a simple joint found in nature, the base is extropolated and geometrically simplified from the intersection of the tree truck to the tree branch. The stainless steel bracket then supports and elevates a tabletop by allowing glass to float above its solid wood base.
