Modfire - Urbanfire + Modpad Outdoor Fireplace. Part of you will think it belongs in a gallery. The other part of you will want to set it on fire. It’s ok. You’re both right.
Urbanfire + Modpad is a propane tower that elevates the award-winning Modfire design to create a sculptural showpiece. Beauty is complemented by greater functionality. A standard 20lb propane tank is concealed in the base, creating a self-contained unit that is more easily installed in any design setting. An external key controls the gas flow without touching the tank and can be removed for added safety.

The Urbanfire + Modpad has a modern star burner mounted to its firebowl to provide a perfectly dispersed flame. Covering the propane burner with either lava rock or fire glass is a great way to disperse the flame and add a customized touch (not included).
The base unit is powder coated in white and conceals a standard 20lb propane tank like the one used for most residential gas grills (not included). A rear door allows easy tank replacement and a removable external key controls gas flow for added safety and convenience.
The Urbanfire + Modpad is manufactured from 14 gauge rolled steel. It is hand-rolled into a sleek cone designed to both direct the heat and provide a beautiful modern centerpiece for your outdoor space.
Each one is then finished in the Modfire studio (in Phoenix, AZ) by one of Modfire's steel artisans. Seams are welded and smoothed, the distinctive openings are hand-formed, and the finish is applied.
Each Urbanfire + Modpad is unique and will have slight variations in size and finishing. In general, the top (fireplace) measures 22" in diameter at the base, 9" at the top and stand 48" with an average weight of 65 lbs. The base unit has a diameter of 30" and is 20" tall.
Each unit includes several layers of high-temperature paint to protect the steel and provide a vibrant finish.
